Lube base oil from crude oil has been containing a lot of paraffin wax and micro crystalline wax. Refined wax is produced thru deoiling process from slack wax which has been producing by dewaxing process for lube oil.
This products is a mixture consisting a lot of iso-paraffinic, some of N-paraffinic, naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons, with 31-50 carbon atoms. Molecular weights of commercial Micro crystalline wax is 450-700.
This is a light yellow crystallization, which is higher melting point and viscosity than p-wax.
